WORKSHOPS

I bring over a decade of coaching expertise to my workshops, drawing from years of teaching aerial disciplines, yoga, and meditation to shape a uniquely precise and embodied approach to Shibari education. Grounded in my clinical background as a trained nurse, I weave anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, structural awareness, and physics into every technique I teach, helping students understand how the body moves and responds within rope. My teaching blends clear explanation, refined theory, and dynamic visual demonstration, creating instruction that is accessible, engaging, and deeply informed by artistry, safety, and longevity.
My workshops are highly hands-on. Whether adjusting alignment, refining tension, or troubleshooting the subtle mechanics of suspension and flow, I work directly with each participant to create a fully embodied learning experience.
Beyond technique, my approach is research-driven and rooted in genuine connection. I take the time to understand each individual’s goals, strengths, and challenges, offering tailored guidance that builds both confidence and mastery.
Whether you’re stepping into this world for the first time or refining advanced skills, my workshops offer a rare combination of expertise, presence, and inspiration, designed to help you evolve with clarity, safety, and power.
Workshop: Self Suspension
I am a professional Self-Suspension Shibari artist, known for my performances around the world and for sharing my passion for Shibari with many. My work blends aerial aesthetics with Self-Suspension Shibari, weaving together personal exploration, performance art, and dynamic high-energy movement in the air.
I often say:
“Self-Suspension Shibari has been more than a performative art for me, it’s a transformative journey of reclaiming my body. In such a vulnerable setting, I experience the delicate balance of control and surrender, which brings me fully into the present moment with heightened awareness. This practice has unlocked pathways to my truest essence, requiring focus, patience, and an intimate understanding of body mechanics for safety and expression. I am deeply honored to share this art with others.”
