AERIAL SHIBARI

I am a multidisciplinary performer specializing in Aerial Shibari, also known as Self-Suspension Shibari, where I bind and elevate myself using rope as an extension of my own body. My work blends dynamic aerial movement, dance, and contortion into a single language. This synergy allows me to move with a profound sensuality and a raw, dark elegance that defines my work.

My artistry is also rooted in Hair Suspension, a discipline I have devoted years to mastering. I am the only performer in the world who combines Hair Suspension with Self-Suspension Shibari, and I am the original creator of this hybrid art form. This unique combination allows me to push both mediums further, creating a style of aerial performance that is entirely my own.

My acts are known for their intensity and theatricality, with tornado spins, daring dynamic drops, and contortion-based shapes that draw audiences into a visceral, emotional experience. I also incorporate self-suspension Shibari numbers that unfold as slow, emotionally charged sensual pieces, giving my performances a full spectrum of energy and expression.

My career has taken me across North America, Asia, and Europe, and even to Japan—the birthplace of Shibari—where I lived for a period and performed Self-Suspension Shibari in a long-running stage contract at Theatre 010. I have brought my work to major fetish stages around the world, including Torture Garden, The Box, Wasteland, and other internationally renowned events, as well as creating immersive worlds inside private members’ clubs and presenting conceptual rope-based pieces within art galleries.

Through the fusion of aerial arts, Shibari, and hair suspension, I redefine what it means to express oneself in the air, inviting audiences into a realm where tension becomes poetry, elevation becomes transformation, and the body becomes living architecture.
